Yesterday me and the dog walked from Tregudda Gorge to Padstow. I took a detour to take an image of Tregirls beach from the rocks. While taking an image I heard a big thud and a yell. We scrambled up the bank to find a man lying on the floor, I went to his aid picked him up and offered him a drink of water. He said that he had tripped on one of the many roots that grow through the path.
I walked back to Tregirls beach with him, he told me he was called Mike Craig and that he was an amateur Geologist, looking at different rocks in the area.
At the beach we went different ways, but I had an interesting mile or so walk with him.
