RAF Davidstow Moor

RAF Davidstow Moor is a former Royal Air Force station located a couple of miles outside Camelford, Cornwall.

It was used from late 1942 until 1954 and despite a few periods of intense activity it was one of Coastal Command’s lesser-used airfields.

Today the abandoned Coastal Command airfield looks almost totally forgotten and has a distinctly eerie quality with its old buildings decaying to rack and ruin.

Seen from above, the abandoned runways and taxiways sits hauntingly intact amid the peaceful farmland.
