Near the top of St Breock Down, stands a prehistoric standing stone, Men Gurta (Man of Cornwall)
It is the largest standing stone in Cornwall, 16 ft tall and weighs (16.5 ton) it probably dates from the late Neolithic to mid-Bronze Age (around 2500–1500 BC).
It is sign posted from the Wadebridge/Burlawn, to Rosenannon Rd as the St Breocks Downs Monolith. Im not sure why its not given its true Cornish name (Men Gurta) on the sign post.
