I haven’t been to Lands End for 12 years and I must say not a lot has changed, it is still as beautiful and rugged as I remember.
When we left Padstow it was clear and sunny with a very spring feel to the weather but that changed as soon as we got to Penzance, the fog was, as they say AS THICK AS PEA SOUP. When we parked the van at Lands End car park, (which I must add was very reasonably priced for a Cornish attraction) the coast was hidden by the fog. Luckily for us it didn’t last all day. We had lunch at the Lands End Hotel/Restaurant bar, which was lovely. would definitely go again.
