Bluebell Woods – Lanhydrock

You cannot take a bluebell for granted. A single bluebell is diminutive, but  en masse they can take your breath away, often growing so close together they transform the woodland floor into a dazzling carpet of shimmering blue.

If you only do one thing in May, come and experience breathtaking carpets of bluebells in Cornwall. On Wednesday we went to Lanhydrock woods Nr Bodmin to visit the Bluebell woods, as usual they did not disappoint.

While wandering around the woods I met a lovely lady, who told me a very sad story about her husband and how he had died suddenly after they had visited the bluebell woods. She said that she comes to visit the bluebell woods every year as a memorial to him.
