Vernacular architecture can be said to be ‘the architectural language of the people’
Unfortunately, there has been a growing disregard for traditional architectural buildings in Cornwall as People have come to see steel, concrete and glass as architecture of high quality. Not that these building aren’t beautiful just that they aren’t keeping with the area
Once gone these building could be replaced by ultra modern steel glass and concrete structure, and buildings like this one at Trethillick lane, will be long gone.
