Stannon Works – Bodmin Moor

Former Cornwall china clay quarry is now reservoir, Stannon Lake, near Camelford on Bodmin Moor, is 60m (200ft) deep and holds 8bn litres (1.8bn gallons) of water. The area had been an active clay pit until 2002, It was bought by South West Water from Imerys Minerals in 2008.
