The Madrips, Trevone Bay

Along with the Roundhole, another prominent landmark in Trevone is the pointed rock that juts out at the end of the headland. Called “The Madrips” the rock appears to be wedge shaped and by the amount of spray that is created by this rock during winter storms this wedge shape would be a correct assumption for the cause of the spray however if you venture up to the end of the headland and look at The Madrips you will find it is very different to what you expect.
